Scientific and technological revolution inevitably leads to industrial revolution. The third industrial revolution, represented by digital technology, has promoted the development of industry towards digitalization and intellectualization. Everything is changing, and the speed of change is much faster than before. The intellectualization of domestic printing enterprises has begun and is on the way, but there is still a long way to go from the real intellectualization.Intelligence is one of the development directions of printing industry in the 13th Five-Year PlanIn April 2017, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Television and Television issued the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for the Development of Printing Industry" with the goal of "promoting the development of the printing industry in China to accelerate the development of"green, digital, intelligent and integrated", promoting the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure, improving the level of large-scale intensive specialization, and realizing the preliminary transformation from a big printing country to a powerful printing country". Here, "four modernizations" is obviously the most basic direction of development, and intellectualization is one of them. There are at least several reasons why the printing industry needs to move towards "intellectualization":First, the need for the development of the times. After the society enters the Internet era, channels are better than selling individuals, software replacing manual management, robots entering production posts,... In this context, who stays where they are, sticks to conventions and refuses to make progress means that they are backward and are likely to be eliminated.Second, the need to improve efficiency. Intelligent integration of whole process based on automation greatly improves the efficiency of equipment and staff, reduces errors, records the whole process of production, and achieves the goal of real-time monitoring and traceability.Thirdly, the need to strengthen management. Comparing with the management based on experience, the computer and software responsible system is more skilled in calculation and identification, more able to act according to the designer's requirements, and completely eliminate the interference caused by various factors.Fourth, the need to reduce costs. The increase of human cost, land cost and production consumables cost leads to the continuous increase of printing production cost. Efficiency is an important means of digesting cost. Intelligence provides the possibility of improving efficiency and reducing cost.Around the printing enterprises must take the road of intellectualization, we can also find out various reasons, and many leading enterprises in the industry have taken the lead in water testing and set a learning example, but these are enough to inspire us, starting from the actual situation of the enterprises, seriously thinking about the way of intellectualization development of their own enterprises. It is obviously not advisable to rush ahead regardless of the actual situation, but if we are willing to lag behind, the final result will be to lag behind and be beaten out by the market.

Intelligence is one of the development directions of printing industry in the 13th Five-Year Plan.In April 2017, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Television and Television issued the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for the Development of Printing Industry" with the goal of "promoting the development of the printing industry in China to accelerate the development of"green, digital, intelligent and integrated", promoting the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure, improving the level of large-scale intensive specialization, and realizing the preliminary transformation from a big printing country to a powerful printing country". Here, "four modernizations" is obviously the most basic direction of development, and intellectualization is one of them.

There are at least several reasons why the printing industry needs to move towards "intellectualization":

First, the need for the development of the times. After the society enters the Internet era, channels are better than selling individuals, software replacing manual management, robots entering production posts,... In this context, who stays where they are, sticks to conventions and refuses to make progress means that they are backward and are likely to be eliminated. Second, the need to improve efficiency. Intelligent integration of whole process based on automation greatly improves the efficiency of equipment and staff, reduces errors, records the whole process of production, and achieves the goal of real-time monitoring and traceability. Thirdly, the need to strengthen management. Comparing with the management based on experience, the computer and software responsible system is more skilled in calculation and identification, more able to act according to the designer's requirements, and completely eliminate the interference caused by various factors. Fourth, the need to reduce costs. The increase of human cost, land cost and production consumables cost leads to the continuous increase of printing production cost. Efficiency is an important means of digesting cost. Intelligence provides the possibility of improving efficiency and reducing cost.

Around the printing enterprises must take the road of intellectualization, we can also find out various reasons, and many leading enterprises in the industry have taken the lead in water testing and set a learning example, but these are enough to inspire us, starting from the actual situation of the enterprises, seriously thinking about the way of intellectualization development of their own enterprises. It is obviously not advisable to rush ahead regardless of the actual situation, but if we are willing to lag behind, the final result will be to lag behind and be beaten out by the market.

Moreover, there are many domestic organizations engaged in software development, but after all, they are still in the process of continuous improvement. As an intelligent software for production management, ERP has been implemented in domestic printing enterprises for more than ten years. However, there is still a contradiction between the basic norms of process management and the desire of enterprises to retain their own characteristics. So far, the head of a well-known software development company in China admits frankly that no one is really in the development of ERP software. Successful people, there are still such defects, in the continuous improvement gradually make it meet the needs of enterprises. If you want to ask printing companies to try and error together with software companies, enterprises will obviously not be willing.

In addition to the inadequacies in software design, the high price of some software markets is also an important factor restricting the development of enterprises in the direction of intellectualization. ESKO software can be said to be the most mature and advanced software, but after all, the market price is expensive, and there are differences in the management between Chinese and foreign enterprises. Without seeing the dazzling value of these software, enterprises will not invest heavily in the initial stage. Therefore, the application software that runs through the whole production process of printing enterprises is the key to affect the enterprise's intellectualization. Fortunately, after more and more highly educated personnel joined the printing industry or took over their parents'classes, their understanding of this is changing. There are also a number of printing enterprises that persevere in the development of special software from the actual needs. I believe that with time, there will be successful people in this process, which will certainly bring positive effects on promoting the development of enterprises towards intellectualization.

Large-scale enterprises marching towards intellectualization set a model for the industry After recognizing that intellectualization is the next development direction of enterprises, many listed companies or large-scale enterprises have begun to take action, of course, this is a gradual development. In the construction of a new factory, Jasmine Printing started to build an intelligent logistics system. From material entering warehouse to finished product leaving warehouse, all of them were scanned by code. The unmanned forklift truck shuttled through the narrow corridor to complete the work of material or finished product entering and leaving warehouse according to instructions, which not only saved manpower and storage space, but also ensured that the warehouse entry and exit were correct. For them, the next step is to integrate the whole process of production with logistics. Shandong Luxin Tianyi Company is working hard on the most heavy and error-prone stacking. They centralize the stacking work of several packing box production lines into an intelligent stacking line. The equipment scans the code automatically and the robot completes the sorting and stacking work. Perhaps this is only the simplest intelligent building on the basis of automation, but it greatly reduces the labor intensity of employees and reduces the possible errors in the stacking process.

Shanghai Fengqifeng Company, which specializes in the production of packing boxes, is probably the most thorough enterprise to achieve intelligent management in the whole production line so far. They customized two complete production lines to German BHS Company according to their actual needs. After putting into operation, the number of employees on-line operation has dropped sharply from hundreds of people in the past to more than 10 people, which not only greatly saves human costs, but also raises them. It improves the efficiency of labor production. Recently, along with the transfer of printing enterprises in Shanghai to the surrounding areas, Jielong is building a new factory in Pinghu. Their idea is to make the whole process intelligent. For this reason, Jielong Art Company has been working on the formulation of work standards for a long time, assembling computer terminals to all operating platforms. Even forklift workers complete corresponding supporting services in accordance with the instructions issued by computers. While issuing operation instructions, Jielong Art Company has issued operation standards and operators complete production tasks in accordance with the standards.

The above-mentioned cases may only be about intellectualization, and today only some leading enterprises with economic strength are trying to take the path of intellectualization. What they are doing may be only a part of the process, "still focusing on the development and implementation of automation solutions", "belonging to the further extension of industrial 3.0, rather than digital intellectualization." Industrial 4.0"has a long way to go from the real sense of intelligent management, so at best it can only be said that it is already on the road, but the first step in the process of progress has a landmark significance, in any case, it is moving forward towards the direction of industrial 4.0, as long as we persist, there will be gains.Printing enterprises are just beginning to move towards intellectualization

Intelligence is not only reflected in the production process, it should start from the client to complete the termination of logistics; it should integrate "production and manufacturing automation, management process digitization, enterprise information networking, intelligent manufacturing cloud-based" together; it should rely on big data, understand the possible needs of the client, and prepare for providing customers with better services. Are we aware of and working towards this goal?As for the application of big data in work, I heard a leader tell such a story. How many people visit Shanghai every year? How many visitors visit Disney in Shanghai? Where do they come from? How many days do they stay in Shanghai? What scenic spots do they go to besides Disney? This is undoubtedly related to the next development of Shanghai's tourism industry. Shanghai's big data center can clearly provide the above data, which is based on mobile phone signals. Relevant data also tells us that the most concentrated place for parents on rest days is the training point for their children, which also reflects the problems in our education from another side. In fact, Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple, used big data to screen out treatments for similar cases in the hope of saving the lives of such a celebrity.

In fact, big data is around us, the key is whether we realize the positive effect of big data analysis. Intelligence without big data as support, the efficiency of intelligentization will be reduced. Therefore, whether from our understanding of what is industrial 4.0 or the actual process of the printing industry into intellectualization, the real sense of industrial 4.0 should be built on the basis of the new concepts of digitalization, whole process and big data. What we are doing now is really only the beginning. We are conscious of the trend of social development and are silently doing along this direction. The pioneering work plays a role of traveling, hoping to set an example for other enterprises, whether successful experience or failure lessons.

The brave people are always the first to eat crabs, because they are full of sacrifice spirit. We are proud of them. We hope that all enterprises can pay attention to the development process of intellectualization. Starting from the facts of enterprises, we will step into this line at the appropriate time, and improve management level and economic efficiency.
